Prince William, Kate walk red carpet for 'Top Gun: Maverick' premiere
William and Kate joined the stars of "Top Gun" at London's Leicester Square.
Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, hit the red carpet Thursday night with Tom Cruise.
The Cambridges, the parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, attended the U.K. premiere of "Top Gun: Maverick," held at Leicester Square in London.
On the duke and duchess' Instagram stories, Tom Cruise shared a message to the royal couple to say thank you for joining him and the cast for the evening and said it was a "privilege to be in your country."
"We're gonna have a great night," he added.
Duchess Kate stole the show in an off-the-shoulder, black floor-length gown. British Vogue reported French fashion designer Roland Mouret was responsible for the number. Kate has worn Mouret's looks many times in the past. She paired the look with diamond, star-shaped dangle earrings.
The Cambridges are no strangers to the red carpet.
Most recently, last September, the pair had a glamorous night out with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at the world premiere of the latest James Bond movie, "No Time to Die."
