Watch Shawn Johnson's 5-month-old check out her mom's 2008 Olympics performance
Johnson took home four medals during the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Shawn Johnson's husband Andrew East shared a video on Tuesday of the family watching one of Johnson's past performances.
In the video, East, Johnson and their 5-month-old daughter Drew watch one of Johnson's vaults from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
"Even though @shawnjohnson NEVER lets us watch her gymnastics, @olympicchannel wanted her to live tweet her performance. So @drewhazeleast and I are over here having a blast, Shawn not so much," East captioned his post.
"That’s your mom," East says to Drew in the video as the family watches. "Say 'yay, mama!'" he tells his daughter.
"It was okay," Johnson replied with a shrug. She took home four medals during the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Johnson's former teammate, Nastia Liukin, the all-around champion from the 2008 Olympics, also took part in the viewing party.
She broke out her pink leotard from the competition to watch the all-around final at the games and shared a photo on her Instagram. "Your girl’s still got it. Actually, no, no I don’t," she joked in the caption of her post.
Johnson and Liukin are close now. The two set the record straight on what happened with their friendship and rumors of a long-standing feud in a 2018 video.
