Watch chilling teaser for new 'Goosebumps' series inspired by R.L. Stine’s iconic book franchise
"Goosebumps" will debut on Friday, Oct. 13, across Hulu, Disney+ and Freeform.
The teaser for the new series "Goosebumps" is here.
Inspired by author R.L. Stine’s best-selling and beloved book series, the upcoming show brings the iconic book franchise to life on screen and it drops just in time for Halloween.
The upcoming series centers around a group of five high schoolers as they "embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle -- while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents' past," according to a series press release.
"Goosebumps" novels the new series draws from include "Say Cheese and Die!," "The Haunted Mask," "The Cuckoo Clock of Doom," "Go Eat Worms!" and "Night of the Living Dummy."
Actors Justin Long and Rachael Harris are set to star in the new series alongside Zack Morris from "EastEnders," Isa Briones from "Star Trek: Picard," Miles McKenna from "Guilty Party," Ana Yi Puig from "Gossip Girl" and Will Price from "The Equalizer."
The first five episodes of "Goosebumps" will debut on Disney+ as part of the platform’s "Hallowstream" and on Hulu as part of its "Huluween" celebration.
The series' first two episodes will also air on Freeform on Oct. 13 as part of its "31 Nights of Halloween" programming.
Disney is the parent company of FX, Hulu, ABC News and "Good Morning America."
