This mom dressed as a unicorn to shovel snow and it was magical
Jennifer Matherly Button's snow shoveling skills are beyond magical.
Jennifer Matherly Button doesn’t always shovel her driveway dressed as a unicorn.
Button said she couldn't resist the challenge when her 25-year-old daughter, Jacey, dared her.
"I had seen a video of another lady in Colorado shoveling snow in her unicorn outfit and I shared it to my Facebook page," Button told "Good Morning America." "I told everyone that the next time it snowed here in Reno, Nevada, that I was definitely going to do what this lady did."
Button said her daughter commented on the post, saying, "do it." When Button read the comment she headed to Amazon to order the unicorn costume.
The full-body unicorn suit Button ordered arrived just in time for the snowfall in their hometown of Reno, Nevada.
Button, who is a kitchen manager at an elementary school in Reno, said her teacher friends reminded her that she would have to shovel the snow in her unicorn outfit.
"I woke up in the morning and saw there was enough to shovel so I figured out how to get the costume on and get my phone situated so I could film it even with it being cold and windy," Button said.
Button said both her daughter and husband loved the video that she posted to her Facebook page.
"Jacey doesn’t live with me so she got a kick out of it when I posted it and tagged her too," she said.
