13-year-old Ty Cash is dancing his way into high school.

The Bronx, New York, native shared an epic video on Instagram of him dancing in his blue cap and gown to celebrate his graduation from middle school.

Cash started dancing when he was just 4 years old. His father, Tyheem Barnes, was a dancer for artists including Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson. Barnes often performs in Washington Square Park with his twin brother.

"We come from a dancing family," Barnes said.

Cash says he picked up a lot of his moves from his dad and his sister, Tiara Barnes, over the years.

When the 13-year-old's graduation was moved to a virtual ceremony because of coronavirus, he decided to celebrate the only way he knew how -- by dancing.

"I was excited that I did it and accomplished my middle school grades but I was sad because I couldn't have a real graduation," Cash said. "Dancing makes me happy and brings me to my happy place. That's my passion."

"The world has ups and downs but always be happy for your achievements," Barnes told his son. "You'll have plenty of other chances to celebrate with your cap and gown."

Cash hope to one day become a dancer, actor and rapper.

"I want to be everything that I can be," Cash said.
