This pop-up playground for pups is every dog's dream
Dogville is a new interactive experience for dogs in New York City.
It's called "Dogville," and it's exactly what it sounds like.
At over 3,000 square feet, Dogville is a totally immersive, made-for-social-media pup-up that has opened in the heart of SoHo in New York City.
Over a year in the making, according to its creators, it's branded as a place "designed to stimulate you and your pooch’s senses and smarts."
Complete with a playground, indoor dog park, a treat bar choc full of healthy food options, and a doggy day spa, Dogville was made for your furry friend in mind, providing for plenty of PAW-sitive reinforcement that appeals to all the senses.
"We had this idea to come up with an interactive space looking inside of a dog's head to find out all the things that make a dog tick," Dogville co-founder and CEO Matana LePlae told "Good Morning America."
"I definitely wanted Dogville to be a place where people can mix and mingle, meet and enjoy each other, learn about each other and their dogs," she said.
No dog? No problem! Dogville is truly for everyone.
They've partnered with a number of local shelters and rescue organizations to shine a light on adoption. And if you can't adopt, pups needing a forever home are on hand to just snuggle with in Dogville's "Puppy Pit."
Part of every ticket purchase goes towards supporting rescue organizations as well.
Dogville, "the waggiest place on earth," is open for a limited time: now through June 2.
