Some of LA's most vulnerable residents were impacted when Art House and Start House were destroyed by the Eaton fire. Now, the community is trying to rebuild to continue to support them.

"These were the up-and-coming. These were possible Olympians," said figure skating pro Rachel Lane-McCarthy.

Tijinee Dampeer advised her daughter, Khali, to write about her late baby brother and it turned into a beautiful poem.

After leaving Alabama A&M University in 1986 without a degree, Allen Brooks returned to school and graduated in December 2024 just months after his mother died.

"We're excited to go back to some normalcy for the kids mostly," one parent said.

The LA Lost Stuffy Project aims to help replace beloved items like stuffed animals, toys and blankets for kids who were displaced by the devastating Los Angeles area fires.

Kalina Silverman's @makebigtalk video series documenting how residents have been impacted by the fires has raised more than $1.2 million for those featured in her videos.

"The reason it got started is we just loved this neighborhood, man. We couldn't just sit and not help," said Cody Webb, a member of the group.

Victor Laveaga and his 11-year-old dog Jack have been greeting first responders returning from the fire line and displaced families at evacuation centers to deliver hope.

Hilton shared a video on Instagram saying no one should have to watch their home burn to the ground on live television.
