Ciara goes makeup free and empowers fans to show off their #BeautyMarks
The "Level Up" singer promotes natural beauty.
Ciara has showcased a tremendous amount of glamorous looks, but now she's pairing things down for a positive reason.
On Monday, the "Level Up" singer posted a selfie on Instagram with her natural hair pulled back and not a stitch of makeup.
"My Beauty Marks and all. The real me.. and I love it. Finally embracing myself fully. It feels good," she wrote.
She also called on her fans to join her #BeautyMarks journey and upload their rawest selfies on her website.
"Don't be afraid to let YOUR Beauty Marks show," she added.
Since posting, Ciara's empowering makeup-free post has garnered over 683,000 likes and sparked lots of conversation. One person wrote, "No makeup needed. I think women pressure other women into thinking they need makeup."
Another fan chimed in, saying, "Thank you for sharing your vulnerability with us. In a world, where a certain look, body type, or filters are deemed favorable it is always refreshing to remind ourselves that we are created differently and beautifully without the enhancements."
The majority of Ciara's looks have included flawless makeup and big gorgeous hair, but many are loving her natural beauty moments just as much...if not more.
