Julianne Moore and her daughter Liv Freundlich are twinning together in a brand new beauty ad.
The mother-daughter duo was photographed for Hourglass' latest "We Glow" campaign. They are both seen wearing natural-toned tops and soft, beautiful makeup.
The vegan and cruelty-free luxury brand is advertising the launch of its new ambient, soft-glow foundation slated to launch online July 20.
Moore and Freundlich expressed their gratitude for the opportunity on Instagram.
"I am so happy to be partnering with @hourglasscosmetics -- alongside my wonderful daughter Liv -- for their new #WeGlow campaign," Moore captioned a post. "What a pleasure to work with a female founded, cruelty free beauty brand that works for everyone. Stay tuned for something new launching soon."
The "Still Alice" star's unveiling of the campaign has boasted over 41,000 likes and 363,000 views along with many fans commenting on how beautiful the mother-daughter duo looked.
Shortly after the announcement of Hourglass' new campaign, the brand also launched a video with Moore and Freundlich reflecting on their first makeup memories.
Moore recalls seeing her mother and her grandmother apply makeup while Freundlich shared that her first memory was seeing Moore get glammed up. She added, "I always wanted to be in that chair with you, and I usually did get to do that because everyone is so nice."
"Our culture is often focused on outer beauty and trying to combat aging," Moore said in a statement. "I appreciate the refreshing approach of this campaign in showing that beauty also comes from within and from the relationships we share."
She continued, "I love the soft-glow effect of this foundation and how it enhances my skin so naturally."
With visuals captured by Mark Seliger, Hourglass has confirmed that this is the brand's biggest campaign to date, and its focus is on its new Ambient Soft Glow Foundation. It has been described by the cosmetics company as a weightless liquid foundation that delivers medium, buildable coverage with a natural, soft glow finish that lasts all day.
The latest launch will be available in 32 shades and provide up to 16 hours of coverage while also protecting against blue light stressors, according to the brand.
"Our new Ambient Soft Glow Foundation provides this natural, lit-from-within glow, and I really wanted to bring that to life," said Hourglass founder and CEO Carisa Janes in a statement. "Julianne is the perfect example of what it means to be beautiful inside and out, and the way she and her daughter just light up around each other is the perfect embodiment of this campaign."
She added, "'We Glow' is a celebration of the inner light that shines through when we're with those we care for and admire, and I'm so excited to share it with our audience."
Following its initial digital release, the Ambient Soft Glow Foundation as well as a complementary foundation brush will launch globally in retail stores on July 29.
