Quinta da Pacheca created the 10 wine barrel suites, all named for a different wine grape, in 2018 as part of a "bold architectural" project, according to the winery's website.

The charming wine cask cabins have a large circular mirror glass window that leads outside to a small patio, overlooking the vineyards of the Douro wine region -- one of the most renowned estates and wine regions.

"The wine barrels were fun, clean, and comfortable," one TripAdvisor traveler said.

One couple who documents their travels on Instagram, Katie and Scott Bray, called the whole experience "authentic" and told followers they had the "best night stay."

They also said the inventive rooms were "truly magical."

"We paid $295 euros per night," Katie Bray told ABC News. "They are built very well. We had a beautiful shower area inside and the 'cork' on top was a sunroof."
