Charo, Keo Motsepe speak out after 'Dancing With the Stars' elimination
She touted the behind-the-scenes crew for being the real stars of the show.
— -- Despite headlining many shows at top Las Vegas casinos, Charo and her professional partner Keo Motsepe were ironically sent home from “Dancing With the Stars” on Las Vegas night.
Charo was a blushing bride in baby blue with Motsepe, but their Vegas wedding-themed foxtrot to The Dixie Cups' "Chapel of Love" only helped end her "DWTS" honeymoon with a low score of 24.
“I was supposed to be in Vegas at the same time when they invited me to do ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” the legendary actress, musician and comedian said on “Good Morning America.” “So I figured, I go back so often, let’s do ‘Dancing With the Stars.’”
She touted the show’s behind-the-scenes crew for being the real stars of the show.
“I must say something,” she began. “’Dancing With the Stars,’ even though they’re celebrities, ‘Dancing With the Stars’ is Keo, everybody. The wardrobe, the seamstress, everybody. They are the show. We are little things that are trying to learn things, but this is Keo, which I’m very proud we got to work together.”
"Dancing With the Stars" returns next Monday on ABC.
