Queen Elizabeth is searching for a Buckingham Palace wash-up general assistant, to ensure that the staff restaurant and wash-up areas are clean, and a coffee-room general assistant, to make sure coffee and tea trays are at the "highest standards."

The salaries are each listed at about $22,000 and accommodations are available. You must also be willing to travel two to three months a year and work in other royal residences. More information about the positions can be found on the Queen's website.

OK, so maybe this still doesn't get you a front-row seat at Prince William's and Kate Middleton's wedding, but it does give you ample opportunity for eavesdropping. Just don't let the queen catch you.
