— -- When you hit 64 years of marriage, you deserve as many nachos as you want. Which, for Charles and Ann Lanter, was 64 inches of them.

To celebrate the couple’s momentous achievement, Skip Chase, the owner of the Taco Bell in Apache Junction, Ariz. that the Lanters frequent “two to three times a week,” decided to throw them a party.

“They’re a beautiful couple, and the guy was a minister his whole life – just a good person – so I wanted to do something special for them,” Chase told ABC News.

He settled on creating a special 64-inch plate of nachos, a $64 gift card and an 18-pound carrot cake from one of his other restaurants.

“They went crazy. It went extremely well,” he said of the Lanters’ reaction.

“It just turned out to be a great ball. We had a wonderful wonderful time,” Charles Lanter, 81, told ABC News. “It turned out to be an exceptional occasion.”

Lanter and his wife Ann, 80, even danced with a Taco Bell Fiery sauce packet mascot.

As for the secret to their long union?

“Someone asked me, ‘How did it last so long?’” Lanter said. “And I said, ‘It took a lot of praying.’”

And apparently a lot of Taco Bell.
