Dog defends yard against roaming bear

— -- A dog tried to intimidate a bear who entered its yard near Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday.

As seen in the aerial footage, the bear was wandering around the Bradbury, California, neighborhood. During the bear's outing, it swam in a swimming pool and even ate some fruit in a nearby wooded area. It was then the "confrontation" took place.

The dog and bear faced off after the dog confronted the bear in its neighborhood.

The bear started to chase the dog across the yard, but then the tables turned and the dog chased the bear, and herding it into a jungle gym.

Despite the encounter, the bear was not intimidated. According to ABC-owned station KABC, the bear continued to wander around the neighborhood for hours.

Law enforcement told KABC said this isn't the first time this bear has hung out in this neighborhood. The animal is tagged, which means it's been captured by officials before.
