Texas Dad-to-Be Goes Viral With 'MTV Cribs'-Like Nursery Tour

— -- A soon-to-be-dad in Texas has just raised the bar for parents everywhere after showing family and friends their baby’s nursery.

Bryan Canatellas took a page from MTV’s playbook and delivered a tour of his daughter’s nursery worthy of the network's hit show, “Cribs,” that features everyone from rappers to models to actors showing off their mega-mansions.

Canatellas, a 29-year-old wedding photographer in Austin, Texas, gives credit for the idea to his wife, Caryn, who is expecting the couple’s first child in August.

“I was going to do just a normal tour but she said, ‘Let’s do something different,’” Canatellas told ABC News. “We just went with it and had a lot of fun with it.”

The couple’s video, which shows Canatellas giving the tour while Caryn, 28, filmed it, has already racked up nearly 50,000 views on YouTube.

Canatellas milks the “Cribs” references, pointing to one wall that has against it an open dollhouse with shelves of books and says, “Here we are in the first wing of the crib…we’ve got a little library.”

“The show was big when we were in our teenage years for sure and we watched a lot,” Canatelles said of choosing to parody “Cribs.” “I remember watching it at home.”

The “Cribs” video is the couple’s second turn at viral fame during Caryn’s pregnancy. Their video from January showing their family’s reaction to Caryn’s pregnancy has attracted more than 380,000 views.

“We wanted to chronicle the pregnancy and we’re going to keep going after the baby is born,” Canatellas said of the videos.
