Donald Trump Doubles Down on Hand Size
"Those hands can hit a golf ball 285 yards," Trump declared.
WARREN, Mich. -- After Donald Trump found himself defending attacks on his hand size -- and an implied knock on his anatomy -- the Republican presidential candidate today held up his hands to a cheering Michigan crowd to again declare that they were large.
"Look at that," Trump announced to thousands of people at a sports and expo center outside of Detroit. "Those hands can hit a golf ball 285 yards."
Trump defended the size of his hands -- and his manhood -- during last night's GOP debate in the Motor City after his Republican rival, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, said last week that Trump's hands were small.
"Have you seen his hands? And you know what they say about men with small hands," Rubio said last week, pausing for effect. "You can't trust them."
Trump said last night he had not heard of someone hitting his hands before, although in 1988, the current editor of Vanity Fair magazine wrote in Sky magazine that Trump was a "short-fingered vulgarian."
