By the looks of the clunky electronic watch he’s been sporting, it seems even President Obama has been caught up in the craze over fitness trackers.
Obama’s a workout fanatic and prides himself on his high-tech presidency, so it only seems natural that he would want to test drive the latest gadgets.
“I don’t have a Fitbit yet, but I work out hard,” Obama told Recode in a recent interview. “Word is these Apple Watches might be a good companion for my workouts. So I’m gonna see, I’m gonna test it out.”
It’s unclear from the photos which brand the president decided to test drive.

But it seems that, for now, his regular timepiece, a Jorg Grey 6500 Chronograph, according to Watchalyzer, is taking a back seat.
Update: Mystery solved. According to Fitbit, the president is wearing their “Surge Fitness Super Watch,” which retails for $250.
