3 Players Ejected After Fight Breaks Out During Alabama-Auburn Game

A referee was knocked to the floor during the chaos.

— -- Three players were ejected from a women's basketball game between Auburn and Alabama after a fight broke out on the court Thursday.

Late in the first half, with Alabama leading 28-15, Auburn's Hasina Muhammad and Crimson Tide's Breanna Hayden got into a scuffle following a free throw.

While the players tried to punch one another, two officials tried to break the two apart. One official ended up being knocked to the floor.

Both players were ejected from the game, and Alabama's Meoshonti Knight was ejected as well for leaving the bench.

Alabama managed to hold on to its lead following the fight, winning the game by one point for a final score of 51-50.
