LeBron James Wears 'I Can't Breathe' T-Shirt Before Brooklyn Game

— -- In a move aimed at protesting the recent grand jury decision in New York not to indict a police officer in the death of Eric Garner, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers wore an "I Can't Breath" T-Shirt Monday night during pre-game warmups before taking on the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.
James joined his teammates as well as the Nets players, who also wore the shirts.
A grand jury in Staten Island decided not to indict New York City Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo in relation to the death of Garner, a man that Pantaleo was seen on video putting in an apparent choke hold in July.
The decision has sparked widespread protests across the country and comes on the heels of another gran jury decision not to indict a police officer for the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
Garner's family has already indicated that they plan to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the NYPD for $75 million.
James' decision to wear the shirt comes days after several other NBA and NFL players donned the also shirts, including Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose and Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush.
