The Daytona 500 will resume Monday at 4 p.m. after rain halted Sunday's race after just 20 of 200 laps had been completed.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who started from the pole, was the leader when action was halted.

The scheduled start of the race was delayed 62 minutes by a shower that hit the 2.5-mile track during the pace laps.

Drivers had been called back to their cars when a hard rain hit the track, causing the race to be postponed just before 7 p.m.
