Rio Olympics 2016: US Gymnasts Take Home Silver, Bronze Medals

U.S. gymnasts take home silver and bronze in beam finals.

— -- With Day 10 of the Olympic Games in Rio underway today, here are some of the most exciting events to watch today to cheer on Team USA.

Gymnastics

Laurie Hernandez, 16, won the silver medal in the finals for the women's beam this afternoon, and fellow American teammate Simone Biles, 19, won bronze. Dutch gymnast Sanne Wevers took home gold.

Biles has already won three gold medals this Olympics, a record-breaking first for an American woman.

Track and Field

Allyson Felix, 30, is set to run the 400 meter finals today, representing Team USA. Felix won first place in the semi-finals last night.

The southern California native will race alongside American teammates Natasha Hastings, 30, and Phyllis Francis, 24, tonight at 9:45 p.m. ET.

The men's 800 meter finals is also tonight with Clayton Murphy and Boris Berian representing Team USA.

Beach Volleyball

The American men's beach volleyball duo of Phil Dalhausser, 36, and Nick Lucena, 36, lost in the quarter-finals to Brazil this afternoon. The game ended with a score of 2-1.
