— -- TAMPA, Fla. --? Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian left Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after being sacked by Tampa Bay defensive tackle Clinton McDonald late in the second quarter.

Siemian was taken to the locker room with an injury to his left, nonthrowing shoulder and was being examined by the team's medical staff. Rookie QB? Paxton Lynch came in the game in relief.

He returned to the sidelines for the start of the second half in a baseball cap as Lynch remained in the game. The Broncos said Siemian's return was questionable.

He was sacked on a first-down play that began with 3 minutes, 25 seconds remaining in the first half. Siemian looked to be in discomfort but stayed in the game one more play, a 7-yard run by Devontae Booker. Lynch entered the game on third down.

Siemian is a native of Windermere, Florida -- about 85 miles from Tampa -- and had many friends and family members at the game. He threw for 312 yards and four touchdowns in last Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
