— -- Wearables are all the rage in the tech world this year, but this guy took it to the extreme.
Chinese officials apprehended a man who tried to smuggle 94 iPhones from Hong Kong into China, according to a report in the state run People's Daily.
It turns out it isn't so easy to walk with an iPhone suit of armor under one's clothes.
The newspaper reported that officials were tipped off that something was amiss when they noticed the man walking strangely.
While iPhones are manufactured in China, a hefty value-added tax has kept the devices out of reach for many consumers in the country.
