— -- Apple's year of revelations isn't over just yet.

As if two new iPhones and a smart watch weren't enough, Apple has scheduled big announcement today starting at 1 p.m. ET at its campus in Cupertino, California.

Much of the speculation has centered on the release of a new iPad, just in time for the holiday shopping season. The company released its latest version of the tablet, the iPad Air, around this time last year.

The gathering will be held at the Apple campus in Cupertino, providing a more low-key venue than the 2,405-seat Flint Center, where Apple held its glitzy September launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The event will also be live-streamed on Apple's website beginning at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. In order to view it, you'll need a version of the Safari browser 5.1.10 or later on a Mac with OS X v10.6.8. You can also view it on your iPhone with Safari on iOS 6.0 or later.

We'll also be live blogging the event at ABCNews.com, so check back soon.
