— -- Microsoft's new machine learning application claims it can guess your age, but it hasn't done a very good job of living up to that promise.

The company showed off the new tool, which uses face detection software to determine a person's age and gender, today at its annual Build developer's conference.

The Internet blew up with people sharing their results on Twitter, which more often than not were not correct.

Case in point:

We decided to run Satya Nadella's mug through the site to see how old it thinks the 47-year-old Microsoft CEO looks.

The answer: 59.
