Theresa Cook

— -- Theresa Cook is a segment producer for ABC News based in the the Washington, D.C., bureau. She produces stories for ABCNews.com, focusing on the Justice Department, Supreme Court and Department of Homeland Security.

She joined the network in 2006 with the David Kaplan Memorial Fellowship, a program set up at the Missouri School of Journalism in memory of veteran ABC News correspondent Sam Donaldson's late producer, who was killed on assignment in Sarajevo in 1992.

Cook holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. At Columbia, she worked as a reporter, producer and news anchor at NBC affiliate KOMU and as a reporter for NPR affiliate KBIA. She also worked as a data analyst for the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting and Investigative Reporters and Editors.
