— -- Four deer pranced through the Washington, D.C. neighborhood of Cleveland Park early Saturday as a potentially historic snowstorm descended upon the nation’s capitol, bringing with it significant snow and wind.

A Twitter user spotted the foursome, tweeting an 11-second video of them running through the streets and writing, “Deer frolicking in the street in Cleveland Park" in her tweet.

It’s unclear if the deer were headed to stage a coup d'etat or simply wanted to enjoy the empty, snow-covered streets.
