— -- ABC News meteorologist Mel explains how this week's weather forecast could impact your fantasy football league.

Redskins vs. Ravens in Baltimore:

Hurricane Matthew is wreaking havoc across the Southeast as we head into the weekend. The good news is the heaviest rain will stay offshore and south of Baltimore on Sunday, but strong winds are likely throughout the game. Gusts could reach over 30 mph. With those winds, playing the kicker on either of these teams could be risky. Let's start with the Redskins -- Jordan Reed and Matt Jones both made it to the end zone and had their best games of the season last week against Cleveland. Reed is one of the top tight ends in the league, so start him. But the Ravens are much tougher on the run than the Browns, so my instinct is to sit an inconsistent Jones. On the other hand, Ravens running back Terrence West racked up over 100 yards and a touchdown last week, and now he plays the Redskins who are one of the worst defenses against the rush.

Jets vs. Steelers in Pittsburgh:

A front continues to push east as we head into the weekend and the bulk of the rain should come on Saturday, but if it slows down some remaining showers are possible by Sunday. Otherwise, it should stay mostly dry and a bit breezy for the game, although the field could still be a bit wet. That shouldn't slow down must-starts like Antonio Brown and LeVeon Bell. Now that Bell is back, DeAngelo Williams looks like he will take the back seat so it's time to start keeping him on the bench. But overall, the Steelers have one of the best offensive lines in the league, and I would sit any defense that plays them, so that's where the Jets belong this week. Turning to the Jets, it looks like Eric Decker's shoulder injury is pretty serious, it means he could miss some serious time. So Brandon Marshall will take over as top receiver. As long as Fitzpatrick can keep his act together, Marshall deserves a spot in your lineup.

Here are your top 10 players to start and sit based on the weather this week:

In honor of Tom Brady's big return, our Wayback Weather game takes us back to 2009 and possibly the most lopsided NFL game in the 21st century. It was Oct. 18 when the Tennessee Titans came to New England during a snowstorm and got shut out, 59-0. But the snow didn't stop Brady, who finished the game with 380 yards and six touchdowns; he set an NFL record with five scoring passes in one quarter. We all know wintry weather in Foxborough is a nightmare to any visiting team, and the Patriots definitely proved it that day.
