1. Obama, Romney to Deliver Ohio Speeches
Candidates have big day ahead on the campaign trail in the race for the White House. President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are both giving major speeches in the battleground state of Ohio.

2. Search for Shooter in Buffalo Continues
Police are searching right now for 49-year-old trauma surgeon Dr. Timothy Jorden in connection with the shooting of a receptionist at a hospital in Buffalo, New York. Authorities say Jorden has military special weapons training, and may be armed and dangerous.

3. Tropical Storm Carlotta Forms in Pacific
Tropical Storm Carlotta has formed in the Pacific Ocean south of Mexico and is expected to turn into a hurricane. Meanwhile, a line of unexpected, severe storms moved through Texas overnight producing golf ball sized hail. The hail stones damaged hundreds of cars in the city and caused a few minor injuries just north of Dallas.

4. Armstrong Facing Fresh Doping Charge
Former pro road racing cyclist Lance Armstrong faces new doping charge from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

5. Giants' Matt Cain Pitches Perfect Game
Matt Cain pitched a perfect game for the San Francisco Giants -- the first in the history of the franchise -- and the 22nd in major league baseball history.
