The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating claims that billionaire Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo veered off course during its first fully crewed spaceflight in July.

The agency said Richard Branson’s SpaceShipTwo deviated from its designated airspace for almost two minutes during its return to Earth. The company insisted passengers and crew were safe.

The news comes on the heels of Richard Branson's jaunt to the edge of space.
