Introducing Apple's New MacBook: Thinnest Ever

— -- In a new lineup of Mac notebooks unveiled today, Apple's new MacBook is the lightest and thinnest ever.
The newest MacBook weighs in at 2 pounds and is 24 percent thinner than even the MacBook Air and features a 12-inch retina display and up to 256 GB of storage. The product will start shipping on April 10, starting at $1,299 or $1,599 for up to 512 GB of memory, Apple announced today. To light up the computer keyboard, each key has an individual LED that allows it to glow in the dark.
With longer battery life, the new 13.1-inch MacBook Pro laptop by Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) has a retina display and fifth-generation Intel Core processors. Available today, it has up to 10 hours of battery life.
"We set a new standard for portability while enhancing its fundamental components, to deliver what we believe is the best MacBook yet," Apple senior vice president of design Jony Ive said.
