2016 Critics' Choice Awards: Complete List of Film Nominations

The awards show airs Sunday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET.

— -- The film nominations have been announced for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, and the musical "La La Land" leads in nominations this year with 12.

The nominations were announced by the Broadcast Film Critics Association with the help of Entertainment Weekly this morning.

Along with scoring a Best Picture nod, "La La Land" earned nominations for the movie's stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

The indie smash hit, "Moonlight," and the Amy Adam's "Arrival" followed in second place with 10 nominations each.

FX's hit series, "The People v. O.J. Simpson," leads in the TV nominations, which were previously announced. Still, HBO was the network that received the most nods with 22, including five for "Game of Thrones."

The Critics’ Choice Awards, honoring the best in TV and film, airs Sunday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET on A&E. "Silicon Valley" star T.J. Miller is set to host.
