Free Jonas Brothers Summer Concert Tickets Gone in Minutes

Don't worry about the weather, the concert is still on for ticket holders.

June 4, 2009— -- Jonas Brothers fans flocked to GMAConcerts.com early Thursday and gobbled up all the free tickets to the Disney pop trio's live appearance in "Good Morning America's" Summer Concert series in less than 10 minutes.

In about the same time it takes to spoof Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video, all the tickets were gone.

This is a ticketed event. Only ticket-holders will be admitted to the Rumsey Playfield venue in Central Park for the show.

The Disney pop trio's free performance in Central Park is scheduled for Friday, June 12, just days before the release of their fourth album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times."

After "GMA" announced the ticket availability this morning around 8:30 a.m. ET it took only nine minutes for Jonas Brothers fans to request every last one.

Jonas Brothers Return to 'GMA' Summer Concert Series

Though the Jonas Brothers appeared in concert on "GMA" in the summer of 2008, this is the first time "GMA" has ticketed one of their free summer concerts, and the response was huge.

"We were blown away by the viewer response this morning," said ABC News spokeswoman Bridgette Maney. "We're thrilled to have the Jonas Brothers joining us this summer as part of our concert series, and we invite everyone to tune in next Friday at 7 a.m."

"Good Morning America" will be contacting everyone who requested tickets to let them know if able to fill the ticket request.

Viewers were permitted to request up to four tickets each, and if there are any extras available "Good Morning America" may re-open the give-away.

Jonas Brothers Fans Jam GMAConcerts.com

The summer concert series, a free, seven-year tradition at "Good Morning America," moved from New York's Bryant Park to Central Park in 2009.

The Central Park venue can accommodate up to 5,000 people.

After performing on "GMA," the Jonas Brothers will travel abroad, performing in France, Spain and Great Britain before returning to the U.S. in mid June.

And in a gutsy move, the Jonas Brothers found a less conventional way to promote their new album that goes beyond morning show appearances and world tours.

In a now-viral online video, Joe Jonas donned a black catsuit and high heels to join the ever-growing gyrating parodies of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video.

Spurred on by his brothers, who have a brief cameo at the beginning, he dances through the entire song, saying at the end, "Phew! It's hard with heels."
