American Music Awards 2015: Inside the Big 'Star Wars' Tribute

Pentatonix, the hit a cappella group, will perform the movie's iconic score.

— -- There will be one performance at the America Music Awards tonight that the audience has never seen before.

The band members will be joined by a "huge orchestra" on-stage, executive producer Larry Klein told ABC News earlier this week.

There will also be "clips of 'Star Wars' going on the entire performance behind them," Klein added.

Members of the group said they can't wait for tonight's big tribute.

"When we got the call, we were freaking out," group member Scott Hoying told ABC News. "We were so excited. We're all big 'Star Wars' fans, we're all excited for the new movie, so to be able to honor it and help promote it, we're just pumped."

He continued, "And we get to sing operatically and we're all choir nerds, so it's kind of a dream come true for us."
