Ariana Grande and Big Sean Split
The couple will "remain close friends."
-- Ariana Grande and Big Sean are no longer making beautiful music together.
The couple has called it quits after eight months of dating.
“They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” Grande's rep told ABC News. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."
Neither Grande, 21, nor the rapper, 27, will have much time to mourn the split: Both are currently on tour.
In fact, last month, Big Sean joined Grande on stage at her Detroit concert. The two performed a couple of songs together and shared a kiss.
The former couple was first linked back in August 2014, when they were seen holding hands backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards. This past October, they confirmed the relationship.
