'Bachelor in Paradise' Stars Explain Why They Got Engaged
Grant Kemp and Amanda Stanton also gushed over their partners.
-- In the "Bachelor in Paradise" finale on Tuesday night, three couples got engaged: Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray and Grant Kemp and Lace Morris.
However, before the episode was filmed, ABC News spoke to half of each couple to find out why a proposal was likely imminent.
Waddell, Stanton, and Kemp couldn't help but gush about their partners, with Waddell insisting, "I'm gonna marry that man."
"He just never gave up on me," Waddell marveled about Bass. "Since that hospital day, every single day after that I just fell harder and harder and harder for this man. ... I am the luckiest person."
However, while Waddell and Bass's relationship grew over time, Stanton said she had eyes for Murray from day one. Kemp felt the same way about Morris.
"I never would've thought that I’d be here but I’m so happy I am where I am," he said just before proposing.
