-- Harrison Ford broke his leg on the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII" last month, but he's already on the road to recovery.
The actor, 71, has been using a special leg brace while he recuperates in London.
"He's a tough guy. He was in very good spirits –- he was alert and very sharp," Brad Hunter, the director of business development for Ford's iWalk Crutch, told People. "I wish everybody was so easy. He gets it. He's mechanically inclined."

Hunter said that Ford is using this specific device because it allows him to use the muscles in his injured leg in a way that a regular crutch does not permit. The actor began using the brace "a day or two after his surgery," Hunter noted, adding, "He's still got a lot of pain."
"I don't know for sure [how much longer he'll be out of work] but I think he said about a month," Hunter said. "[But] he wants his independence."
