Jon Stewart Gets 'Attitude Adjustment' From John Cena on WWE's 'Monday Night Raw'
The two appeared on WWE's "Monday Night Raw."
-- A night after Jon Stewart's surprise chair attack on John Cena at the WWE event SummerSlam, the former "Daily Show" host-turned-heel got a little payback on "Monday Night Raw" in the form of a body slam by Cena.
Stewart explained that he nailed Cena with the chair because he didn't want to see him tie Ric Flair's record of 16 world championships.
Flair then entered the ring and told Stewart he would be proud to have Cena tie or break his record.
When Cena arrived, Stewart attempted to patch things up, saying he just did what he had to do Monday night.
"In my mind, the champ is Flair," declared Stewart. "I wasn't going to let it happen. Not on my watch."
That's when the former champion responded, "I'm just gonna do what I gotta do," and hit him with his finishing move, the Attitude Adjustment.
