Kristen Bell: How Motherhood Has Changed Me

Bell, 35, has two children, Lincoln, 3, and Delta, 1, with husband Dax Shepard.

— -- Kristin Bell is opening up about how motherhood has changed her.

The "Frozen" actress told ABC News why the campaign is so important to her.

"It became clear to me when I became a mom how small actions lead up to results," Bell said.

The Global Moms Relay campaign, a joint venture for the UNF and Johnson & Johnson, has been asking moms what they wish were true for every child, everywhere, and for Bell, the answer is health and safety.

"I tend to favor health and safety first because I think without that, there are just no possibilities for kids," Bell said. "If a child can’t receive vaccinations or be safe in his or her community, there are no possibilities for them, and I, for one, really care about the health and safety of our children and work hard to make sure they have health and safety."

Bell agreed that all moms "deserve to be spoiled," but revealed that in her life, spending time with her kids is how she chooses to indulge herself.

"When I feel spoiled is when I’m with them," Bell said. "I don’t wish for a night on the town.

"Because I’m a working mom, really all I want to do is shut my phone off and lock my doors," she continued. "I don’t wear makeup, nobody’s wearing shoes, we’re running around the house being carefree and having no responsibilities to the outside world."
