Mark Ballas: Derek Hough Probably Shouldn't Dance on Monday's 'Dancing with the Stars'
The "Dancing with the Stars" pro is nursing an ankle and a broken toe.
-- Derek Hough's rep revealed Wednesday that the "Dancing with the Stars" pro had injured an ankle and toe on different feet.
Mark Ballas, who also appears on the ABC dancing show, doesn't necessarily expect to see his friend in the ballroom next week.
As for whether Hough will dance, Ballas told ABC News, "If it were up to Derek, yeah. But if that's the right move? Probably not. So, we'll see."
While rehearsing for the 10th anniversary "Dancing with the Stars" special earlier this week, Hough broke a toe on his right foot and sprained his left ankle. As a result of the injuries, Hough's partner, Nastia Luikin, has been training with dancer Sasha Farber.
Meanwhile, until he's healed, an understudy will be filling in for Hough, 29, in the New York Spring Spectacular show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
