Mark Ruffalo Accepted His SAG Award From His Bed
Actor's wife and kids woke him up to deliver the good news.
Jan. 26, 2015— -- Even better than seeing Mark Ruffalo accept his SAG award for his role in "The Normal Heart" on Sunday night's telecast was seeing him in bed when he learned the news that he was a winner.
The 47-year-old actor flashed a sleepy but satisfied smile in a selfie he posted minutes after his win.
"Upon waking and hearing from my wife and kids that I won a @sagawards for #TheNormalHeart Love wins tonight!" he wrote.
Ruffalo was in London, expected to be on the set for his next film role in four hours, when his family delivered the good news.
Once he was wide awake, he proceeded to tweet what amounted to his acceptance speech.
