Mystery Surrounds 'Suge' Knight Nightclub Shooting

The shooting happened at a party thrown by Chris Brown.

— -- Police still aren’t sure what sparked a Hollywood nightclub shooting that left music producer Marion “Suge” Knight badly injured.

No known suspects or persons of interest have been identified.

Knight’s family was asking for prayers.

“Suge is currently resting and has lost a lot of blood. He’s human,” his family said in a statement to Revolt TV.

Video taken inside the club captured the shots. Amid the chaos and confusion, party goers ducked for cover.

Thomas Clark witnessed the shooting.

“Before I knew it, everyone ran and I got on the floor,” he said.

Video showed Brown on top of a table after the shooting -- furious at what had taken place, according to witnesses. Club goers raced out the door, holding their hands up as sheriff’s deputies stood guard with guns drawn.

“At this time we’re not even sure if Marion Knight was the intended target,” Gordon said. "And the other two appear, from their gunshot wounds, they may have been just trying to get out of harm’s way."

Brown’s representatives released a statement following the shooting.

“This incident did not involve Chris,” the statement read. “He has and will continue to cooperate with the investigation.”
