Patrick Dempsey, Estranged Wife Reportedly Reconciling
The star and his wife, Jillian, have reportedly been seen on dates together.
— -- It appears Patrick Dempsey and his previously estranged wife Jillian could be reconciling and calling off their divorce.
Just one year ago, Jillian filed for divorce from Dempsey after 15 years of marriage. Now it appears those breakup plans are flat lining.
“Jillian filing for divorce was really a huge wake-up call for Patrick,” Melody Chiu, writer for People magazine, told ABC News. “He didn’t like the idea of not being a family anymore and that’s why over the past year he’s worked so hard to make Jillian happy.”

The pair has reportedly been dating and are focusing on their three children. Earlier this month, Jillian posted this Instagram photo taken at Dempsey’s 50th birthday celebration.
“Recently she won an award, she’s a makeup artist, and he showed up to support her,” said Chiu. “He looked very proud and happy.”
Rumors of the couple rekindling their marriage sparked last fall when Dempsey and Jillian were seen together in Paris.
The duo isn’t the first Hollywood couple that decided to stay together after separating. In 2013, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas reconciled after hitting a rough patch in their marriage.
And pop star Pink, who sang about her marriage troubles in 2008, worked it out with her husband Carey Hart. The pair welcomed their first child together in 2011.
Dempsey and Jillian may very well be in good Hollywood company.
