Prince William and Prince Harry Duel With Lightsabers on 'Star Wars' Set

The royals visited the U.K. set of "Star Wars: Episode VIII."

The princes, who admitted to being huge “Star Wars” fans, stopped to take a look at a Chewbacca mask while on the tour and also engaged in a lightsaber duel.

Prince Harry showed he is the king of hugs with his embrace of Chewbacca, while Prince William made a new pal, squatting down to meet BB8.

Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the film, tweeted his excitement before William and Harry’s visit.

Prince William is president of the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) and hopes to highlight the wealth of British talent engaged in the filmmaking industry. The “Star Wars” visit today was William’s first royal engagement since he and his wife, Kate, returned last weekend from a weeklong trip to India and Bhutan.

“Star Wars: Episode VIII” will be released in December 2017.

"Star Wars" is produced by Lucasfilm, a subsidiary of the Disney Co., which is the parent company of ABC News.
