Ronan Farrow Remembers His Late Brother Thaddeus After His Suicide
Mia Farrow's adopted son Thaddeus committed suicide Wednesday.
-- Ronan Farrow, the son of actress Mia Farrow and director Woody Allen, took to social media on Sunday to remember his late brother, Thaddeus.
Thaddeus, Mia Farrow's adopted son, was found dead in his car Wednesday in Roxbury, Connecticut. He was 27. The local medical examiner later ruled his death a suicide, saying he had shot himself, according to the Associated Press.
On Sunday, Ronan Farrow, 28, shared two childhood photos of himself with his late brother. In one photo, Thaddeus is in a wheelchair and in another he's using crutches to walk.
The journalist captioned the photo collage, "Rest in peace, brother. I never knew anyone stronger, or who overcame more."
Thaddeus Farrow was adopted from an orphanage in Calcutta, India, in 1994. He was a paraplegic and a polio survivor.
Mia Farrow, 71, also took to social media last week, expressing shock over the death of her late son.
"We're devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother," Mia Farrow wrote. "He was a wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life."
"We miss him," she added. "Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and words of kindness."
