Julia Louis-Dreyfus's Smooch with Bryan Cranston: What a lucky woman: "Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus won the Emmy for best actress in a comedy series and got a kiss from best actor in a drama series Bryan Cranston to boot! Cranston, who once played her love interest in "Seinfeld," grabbed the actress on her way to the stage and passionately kissed her on the lips, causing Louis-Dreyfus to later quip, "You were on Seinfeld."

4. Billy Crystal's Heartfelt Tribute to Robin Williams: When Robin Williams died, his friend Billy Crystal tweeted, "No words." He found a few for the Emmys, and honored his late friend with a touching tribute, complete with personal stories of Williams. "As genius as he was on stage, he was the greatest friend you could imagine," he said. "It's very hard to talk about him in the past, he was so present in all our lives. ... For 40 years he was the brightest star in the comedy galaxy."
