Sting Will Perform at the NBA All-Star Game
The singer will headline the halftime show, but who's kicking off the night?
— -- There will be more entertainment at the NBA All-Star Game than just basketball.
The NBA announced this morning that Sting will headline the halftime show and Cirque du Soleil will kick off the night with a show prior to the game.
Both performances are part of part of the NBA All-Star Entertainment Series.
The game will be played at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Feb. 14, and tip-off will be at 8 p.m. ET. The night before, Drake and Kevin Hart will coach teams in the NBA All-Star Celebrity game. Drake's team, which will represent his native Canada, includes "Race" actor Stephan James, Arcade Fire’s Win Butler, "Property Brothers" stars Drew and Jonathan Scott, professional tennis player Milos Raonic, actor and singer Kris Wu, seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady, NBA TV analyst Rick Fox, and Indiana Fever forward Natalie Achonwa. He will also be joined by Steve Nash and Toronto Blue Jays right fielder José Bautista.
Hart's team, representing the U.S., includes actors Jason Sudeikis, Michael B. Jordan, Anthony Anderson, and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray, TV host Nick Cannon, five-time NBA All-Star Chauncey Billups, former NBA player Muggsy Bogues, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry and WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne.
