'White Lotus' star is 'overjoyed' to be pregnant after experiencing miscarriage

Alexandra Daddario is pregnant!

The "White Lotus" star recently revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Andrew Form, a film producer, publicizing the happy news in an interview with Vogue published Wednesday.

Daddario had kept her pregnancy a secret from the public for six months by "wearing baggy clothing, posting tightly cropped photos on her Instagram, and avoiding pretty much everyone," according to the outlet.

The Vogue article included several maternity photos of Daddario showing off her pregnancy in a variety of simple, laid back outfits.

"I'm finally embracing it," she told the outlet, adding that she is "overjoyed" with her pregnancy.

"I feel like now that I'm pregnant and it's all successful and everything's healthy, I shouldn't complain," she added.

Elsewhere in the interview, Daddario shared that she had been pregnant previously, but added, "I had loss."

"It's long and complicated, so I don't want to be too specific," she explained. "Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you've been through them. I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn't understand fully before. It's very, very painful."

Although Daddario said she was excited when she found out she was pregnant again, she added, "It was actually quite hard to process…. You have a lot of complicated feelings."

"I was so overwhelmed with work," she continued. "Part of me was like, 'This is the worst thing ever.' Then part of me was like, 'This is actually a great distraction.' Because I'm not sitting there all day long in my house going, 'If I pick up this pot to make pasta, is something bad going to happen? If I eat this pasta, is something bad going to happen?'"

Daddario also shared her pregnancy announcement in an Instagram post Wednesday, which featured one of the images from her Vogue photoshoot.

"Excited for my child to go to pre-school with Margot Robbie and hailey bieber's kids," she wrote in the caption.

Daddario and Form wed in June 2022 in New Orleans. While this is the couple's first baby together, this will be Form's third child, as he is already a father to two sons, Rowan, 10, and Julian, 8, whom he shares with ex-wife Jordana Brewster.
