Jonas Brothers Concert Rocks 'Good Morning America'

June 12, 2009— -- The Jonas Brothers wowed a packed crowd in Central Park Friday with a free concert as part of "Good Morning America's" Summer Concert series.

A little rain didn't dampen the spirits of the thousands of lucky fans in attendance for the "GMA" performance. The concert in Central Park came just days before the release of Jonas Brothers' fourth album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" and the band kicked off with a performance of the first single from the new album, "Paranoid."

Kevin Jonas told "GMA" that the album's title represents the band's journey. "We went through a lot in making it," he said. "Vines are the things on the path that are holding you back."

Still, he said, "this is a hopeful record...it's a lot of fun."

Nick Jonas said that the band was "inspired by a lot of different people on this album," including Neil Diamond.

"Neil Diamond was a big one for us. We actually did a charity event with him in this last year, and we played one of his songs and we got to meet him," said Joe Jonas. "Everybody knows Neil Diamond, but once you get into it you're really into it."

The trio also performed "Poison Ivy," fan favorite "Burnin' Up" from their third album, and "SOS."

Jonas Brothers fans flocked to GMAConcerts.com on June 4 and gobbled up all the free tickets to the Disney pop trio's live appearance in "Good Morning America's" Summer Concert series in less than 10 minutes.

After "GMA" announced the ticket availability, it took only nine minutes for JoBros fans to request every last one.

The summer concert series, a free, seven-year tradition at "Good Morning America," moved from New York's Bryant Park to Central Park in 2009.

After performing on "GMA," Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas will head overseas, performing in France, Spain and Great Britain before returning to the U.S. in mid-June.
