Brooke Burke Joins 'Dancing With the Stars' as Co-Host
Tom Bergeron said Burke will replace Samantha Harris for season 10.
March 8, 2010 -- Former "Dancing With the Stars" champion Brooke Burke joins Tom Bergeron as co-host of the hit show, he announced today on "Good Morning America."
The new co-host was the winner of season seven of "Dancing With the Stars" and replaces Samantha Harris on the show. In addition to modeling, Burke also previously hosted the E! show "Wild On" and "Rock Star" on CBS.
"We have somebody with Brooke. ... She looks amazing and she'll be able to talk to the couples backstage with the perspective of having been through it herself," Bergeron said.
Reality-television star Kate Gosselin, actress Shannen Doherty, "The Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka and Olympic figure skating gold medalist Evan Lysacek are among the stars who will show off their fancy footwork during the show's 10th season.
"I like this cast," Bergeron said.
The pros will begin training their celebrity partners as the teams prepare to hit the dance floor on the "Dancing With the Stars" two-hour season premiere March 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
Donny Osmond was the winner of the coveted Mirror Ball trophy on the last season of the show.

Aldrin will be partnered with dancer Ashley Costa (formerly DelGrosso), who returns for her fourth season.
Anderson joins professional dancer Damian Whitewood, who makes his "Dancing with the Stars" debut this season.
Andrews teams up with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who returns for his eighth season.

Doherty will dance with two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champ Mark Ballas, who returns for his sixth season.
Gosselin teams up with Tony Dovolani, who returns for his ninth season.
Lysacek will dance with Anna Trebunskaya, who returns for her fifth season.
Nash joins Louis Van Amstel, who returns for his sixth season on "Dancing With the Stars."

Ochocinco will hit the dance floor with two-time champion Cheryl Burke, who returns for her ninth season.
Pavelka joins Chelsie Hightower, in her third season.
Scherzinger teams with Season 7 champ Derek Hough, who returns for his sixth season.
Turner will partner with Edyta Sliwinska, the only pro to compete in all ten seasons of "Dancing with the Stars."
